Reviews: Hotel Saratoga
4.2decent hotel, overpriced, could benefit from new managementJames - Apr 23, 2017
Decent facility, prime location, capable mezzanine bar service, although like much of the Habana experience, ignorance of congenial service standards or lackadaisical half hearted resentment of the capitalist non native Spanish speaker(read:American) create a detectable indignation that permeates all tourist interaction. Travel to Cuba requires tempered expectations of service, transparency and straight-forwardness although in most cases the romance, beauty and history of Cuban culture outweighs the very evident short comings. I tried many lodgings from various corporate owned and independent hotels to private homes and hostales, but have yet to find the level of comfort or service that might entice me to return.
